It is my honor and privilege to be associated with BVDUIHMCT, Pune since its inception in 1992.The Institute was established by Hon Dr.Patangraoji Kadam, Founder Chancellor, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, who cherished the dream of making the institute a center of excellence in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. During my tenure, I have committed myself to the task of realizing this dream.

I firmly believe in the objectives of our Institute:

To offer students the opportunity to develop their practical, management and communication abilities and provide each individual student with the training know – how for a successful career in the highly competitive Hospitality Industry.

To develop the personality of a student as required by the hospitality Industry.

It has been my conviction that skill enhancement can occur only with excellent infrastructural facilities and student oriented teaching. Over the years we have been upgrading our infrastructure consistently. Our library is replete with books and online databases. I am really fortunate to have very competent and experienced faculty, who are knowledgeable in the realm of Hotel & Catering Management.

I also believe that in the service industry, it is important to practice courtesy and manners, develop one’s personality and communication skills, and be disciplined, which is included in the course curriculum. Attitude, Knowledge, and skills are integral to building a career in the hospitality industry.

I am happy to record here that our efforts have paid rich dividends. Our students are well placed in the industry globally and the industry has recognized us as one of the best hotel management training institutes in India.

In the post – pandemic era, the institute has adapted to the online and hybrid modes of teaching-learning.

We are proud of our alumni who are well placed globally and are equipped with requisite skills. Our network of more than 5000 alumni is spend across India and abroad. We are glad when our successful alumni visit their alma mater, having brought laurels to the institute.
